Hello all,
At long last I thought I would come on and update you on me, my friends and all the goings on around me.
So much has happened since I last posted - most sadly and upsetting is that Barley Sugar sadly passed away last year. I miss him so much; he was a wonderful bunny, so full of character, he will never be forgotten.

Oh... the snow!!
Hi,
I don't know about you but I thought that spring had arrived last week, what with all the light evenings and sunny days - but low and behold what should happen on Sunday morning, I wake up to snow!!!
Look my shed and run are covered:

We had plenty of hay to keep our shed snug n' warm and each other to snuggle up to! Didn't take long for it all to melt though, I guess that will be all the snow we'll get for this year!

The green... green... grass!!
Hi everyone, it's me again Floss...
A couple of weeks ago now we had a spell of fine weather so our "two foot" put me and Barley on the grass. We had a nice large and secure run on the grass & I was in my element - only thing was I couldn't decide what to do first - eat all the lush grass there was about, or just hop like mad?
Here's a photo of me hopping - so nice to feel the grass between my toes:

And here is one of me and Barley making the most of the al a carte menu on offer:

Hello... I'm Floss
.
I come from Honeybunnies Rabbit Rescue, which is where my "two-foot" took Barley to meet me.
.
I love my food, I eat lots of hay with is both healthy and tasty, especially this Timothy Hay as it has lots
of lovely smelling herbs added to it, I'm also a active bunny all of which helps me keep my weight down.

As there are now two of us sharing the shed and run our "two-foot" decided that we needed some extra space to run about it, she spent all one weekend building and hammering away. Hey presto... there was a extra space! I love the extra space, now I can get some speed up when I hop from one end to the other!
Here's what the shed and run now look like:

A Long Journey
Little did I know on a cold Monday evening when I was bundled into the carried and then on a long car journey, where I was handed over to a complete stranger (well she was a stranger to me, but my two-foot seemed to know her!).
So was this a new home for me? I was happy where I was??
The stranger who I later learned was called Jill, was very friendly and talked to me all throughout the journey - I don't really like cars - too much wooshing about! Well I arrived back at this strangers house it seemed very pleasant and thought I might as well tuck into some lovley hay and veg she's provided!
Then the next day who should appear in my cage but a delighful little girl called Eve. I wasn't sure what to make of this new arrival, so I did what came naturally to me... this didn't apper to go down too well, so after a while I setled down and the little new bunny started to wash me.
This was all back on the 14th February, here's a few photos from that day....
Then on the 16th February my very own "two-foot" came to pick both of us up and take me and my new friend back home... phew!

Dolly Mixture
Well it's been a good few months since I last updated my blog! And what a few months it had been! It's going to take a while to update you with all of these!
Firstly my neighbour Dolly Mixture died on the 22nd November, this was a sad day for both myself and my "two foot", so I dedicate this entry to her.
RIP Dolly x x

My new house...
... It's been a little while since I have given you any updates.
Well it's been quite hectic as I have just moved house. I haven't moved too far away just a few feet really, but it is by far upgraded accomodation!
Here's a photo of what it looks like:

At the back is my den which is filled with hay, so it is nice and cosy. At the front there is a rug what I can wipe my feet on when I come in from the outside.
There is also a little door which enables me to go from the shed into the run, it ca
n be bolted shut at night so as to privide me with extra protection should any foxes venture into the garden.

I hope you like it, I know I do, even if it is getting a bit of getting used to, afterall I've lived in my old hutch for over 4 years now. Although I do think it needs a bit of accessorising, some pictures perhaps?
